Tenth GenerationTo be found on Page 116 of Orson Lee Treloar's book Lester Dewey10 TRELOAR (William Clarence9 Joseph8, Bennet7, James6, Bennet5, Thomas4, John3, Wearne2, John1 Werne TRELOWARTH), son of William Clarence Treloar and Mabel Maud HILAND was born 14 Sept. 1898 Ogden, Iowa. He obtained an 8th grade education in Ogden, Iowa, Public schools. Les had an instinct for pleasing the public and business ability much above average tbat developed with the years to superior ranking. After leaving school he worked as store delivery boy, railroad brakeman and switchman and started in concession business when the author did. After several ups and downs in cafes he started "Treloars Inn" on the outskirts of Fort Dodge, Iowa. This enterprise has grown until his resaturant which is known all over the mid-west now seats over 450 people and has a large "Drive Inn" cafe also. He has filled many important offices in state and U.S. Restaurant Associations and in Lion's Club.
