Ogden, Ia., dau. of Fred Lindstrom and Marie Jensen; Olga md. secondly 1956 Des Moines, Iowa Jack W. MEYER. Ray was a very handsome man and, as Orson Lee Treloar recalled, somewhat taller than the rest of the family who were on the short side. He was the seventh son of the seventh son. He moved to Des Moines, Iowa with his parents when he was about 7 years old. He attended both grade and high school at Des Moines and was a prominent athlete, especially outstanding in football and track at North High. He also attended the Four C's Commercial College at Des Moines. The first seven of his productive years he operated a farm 9 miles south of Ogden. When he moved from the farm he owned and operated a meat market at Bouton, Iowa for two years. From here he moved to Des Moines in 1913 where he was employed as a traveling salesman by the meat packing firm for whom he worked until his death seven years later. Aunt Olga says, "He was a considerate husband and a wonderful father to his children." Children of Raymond Roscoe TRELOAR and Olga Florence Lindstrom i.
