Thomas8 TRELOAR (William7, John6 ,Bennet5, Thomas4, John3, Wearne2, John1 Werne TRELOWARTH) was born 18 August 1818 at Portished, Somerset, England and baptised 20 September 1818 at Portished, Somerset. He was aged 33 in the 1851 census He died 8 June 1876 aged 58 at Lewisham, London. He left a will and he was buried at Norwood Cemetery at Shirley, Surrey. Thomas was an accountant of Bristol when he married Elizabeth ROBERTSON 1 October 1839 at St Phillip's, Bristol. Elizabeth was born in Scotland 1816. She died 25 August 1859. Later Thomas was a warehouse clerk until he entered into a coconut fibre business which he later owned. This was known as Treloar and Son Carpet Co and was located at Ludgate Hill, London. Secondly Thomas married Isabbella PURDIE of Westerfield, Suffolk on 22 May 1861.
Thomas TRELOAR and Elizabeth ROBERTSON had the following family:-
i. Thomas TRELOAR was born 24 February 1840 at Stepney, Middlesex, England.
ii. William Purdie (Sir) TRELOAR was born 13 January 1843 at Blackfriars, Southwark, London. He died 6 September 1923. He married Annie BLAKE on 20 March 1869.
iii. Robert TRELOAR was probably born December quarter 1844 at Middlesex. He was aged 5 in the 1851 census. He died 1898. He married Marianne Delia Lidstone ROUGH in the December quarter 1876.
iv. Annie TRELOAR was born September quarter 1845 at Middlesex, England. She was 4 years in the 1851 census. She died in 1923. Annie married Dr William BISHOP in the June quarter 1872.
Thomas TRELOAR and Isabella PURDIE had the following family:-
i. Isabella TRELOAR was born September quarter 1868 at Lewisham, London. She died aged 7 in December 1875 at Christchurch, Hampshire.
ii. Nellie TRELOAR was born September quarter 1872 at Lewisham, London. She died in 1917. Nellie married Martin ARCHER-SHEE.
