Wisconsin states 68 yrs.); went to Wisconsin in 1848; md. 8 May 1843 Breage, Cornwwall, England Mary COCK (COX) of Penhale, b. 11 Mar. 1821 Penhale, Parish of Breage, dau. of John COCK, husbandman, and Mary RICHARDS (md. 18 Sep 1813 at Breage). James secondly married Frances HARELSON from Kentucky 14 Oct. 1861 Lancaster, Wis. Francis HARELSON (ELLIS), b. 9 Oct. 1826 or 1829 in Bowling Green, KY; d. 1899 Grant Co., Wis. She was married firstly to John (Marshall?) ELLIS had the following children; James H. ELLIS, John H.ELLIS, Elizabeth ELLIS, Sarah ELLIS, Frances Elizabeth ELLIS, Mary ELLIS, & William ELLIS. Children of James TRELOAR and Mary COX (COCK) i. James TRELOAR, b, 10 Mar. 1844 England; d. 12 Mar. 1917 Wis.; md. 1866 Ellen Elizabeth KILBY; he fought in the Civil War. ii. Mary TRELOAR, b. 19 Mar. 1845 England; d. 28 Dec. 1923 md. 22 Feb. 1865 Alfred C. KILBY; secondly md. Harrison J. BLOOD, 1879. iii. William TRELOAR, b. 27 Sept. 1848 England; d. 17 Jan. 1925 Sumner, Iowa; md. 23 Mar. 1871 Susannah BRONN. iv. Grace TRELOAR, b. 10 May 1853 Lancaster, Grant Co., Wisconsin; md. ....BRAYTON, has a dau. Miss Ada BRAYTON who had an old letter in her possession which gives names of children in family of Henry and Marjorie Treloar. She also recalled names mentioned by her mother. Miss Brayton was associated with the Mt. Wilson Observatory at Pasadena, California for many years and had private students in Spanish. v. Henry TRELOAR, b.
