James Treloar 1809 - 1873

Eighth GenerationJames8 TRELOAR (James7, James6, Bennet5, Thomas4, John3, Wearne2, John1 Werne TRELOWARTH) an agricultural labourer, son of James TRELOAR and Honor LUGG. he was baptised on 2 April 1809 at Helston. He was aged 30 yrs in the 1841 census and 44 in the 1851 census (both census at Venton, Vedna, Sithney). He died 21 June 1873 aged 66 at Treggose, Wendron. He was buried 25 June 1873 at Wendron. He married Margaret TYACK at Sithney 9 November 1830. She was born about 1806 at Wendron and was aged 30 in 1841 census and 45 in 1851 census. She died as Peggy 24 November 1874 aged 68 at Tregoose, Wendron. She was buried 29 November 1874 at Wendron. James TRELOAR and Margaret TYACK had the following family: i. Margaret Ann TRELOAR was born about 1832 at Sithney. She was aged 9 in the 1841 census and 19 in the 1851 census. She married June Q. 1863 at Helston Dist. to Thomas VOYCE. Children Jim VOYCE moved to Ironwood, Mich., USA and Charles VOYCE moved to Australia. ii. James TRELOAR was baptised 5 January 1834 at Sithney. He was aged 7 in the 1841 census. He died 1896/7 aged about 60. He married Grace ELLIS of Helston and they lived at Sithney. iii. Bennet TRELOAR was born about 1834/36. He was aged 5 in 1841 census. He died 15 July 1916 aged 82. He married 7 January 1860 at Sithney to Grace Ivie PASCOE iv. William TRELOAR was born 11 March 1838. he was aged 3 in 1841 census. He died aged 52 on 20 December 1891 at lowertown, Sithney. He married in March Q at Helston Dist. to Grace MANKEY. v. Thomas TRELOAR was born 1839 at Sithney. he was aged 1 in 1841 census and 13 in 1851 census. He died in his 20's. vi. John Rowe TRELOAR was born about 1840. he was aged 8 mo in 1841 census. vii. Mary TRELOAR was born about 1843 at Sithney. She was aged 8 in 1851 census. viii. Grace TRELOAR was born about 1850 at Sithney. She was aged 1 in 1851 census. Bennet TRELOAR was a lodger in this home in the 1851 census, aged 67, married, formerly a farmer, born Wendron. |
