Seventh GenerationTo be found on Page 48 & 49 of Orson Lee Treloar's book William7 TRELOAR (Henry6, Bennet5, Thomas4, John3, Wearne2, John1 Werne TRELOWARTH) son of Henry TRELOAR and Grace REMFRY. Orson Lee Treloar wrote:- It has been impossible to determine the parentage of William Treloar who married Mary Jenkins. I lean toward Henry Treloar and Grace Remfry being the correct ones, because of the names used for their children. William, son of Bennet Treloar and Ann Pascoe, md. at Wendron 28 June 1783 is practically the same age and could be the one. I have put both families here to help those who may wish to continue the search. I would like very much to solve this problem as the late William George Treloar of 27 Charterhouse Road, Orphington, Kent, England belongs to this family. He gave me more help than any other Treloar in compiling this book. He was 80 years old when he copied all the death, birth, and marriage records for the name Treloar from 1837 to 1900 for me at Somerset House, London. The books at the Public Record office are large and heavy and four to the year in each of the three categories. The time and energy expended must have been very great and it is equally greatly appreciated by us. A family story handed down over the years has it that someone in the family went from Cornwall to the Scilly Islands. He was engaged in smuggling, a rather common Cornish occupation, and was forced to flee the Islands with his family. He located in Spalding, Lincolnshire where he engaged in potato growing. I had the census records of Swanage, Dorset searched for 1841 for William but he wasn't found Bennet TRELOAR, md. 28 June 1783 Wendron, Cornwall, England to Ann PASCOE. Children of Bennet TRELOAR and Ann Pascoe i. Ann TRELOAR, bp. 21 Mar. 1784 Wendron, Cornwall, England. ii. Ann TRELOAR, bp. 7 Aug. 1785, Camborne, Cornwall, England. iii.
