John James7 TRELOAR (Samuel6  Thomas  Thomas4 James3, Ralph2 TRELOARTH, Benedict1, Werne TRELOWARTH), son of Samuel Treloar and Elizabeth Williams, came to Canada with his father while in his early teens and worked in his father's foundry. Later in life he was a printer. He was b. 29 Oct. 1834 (M.I.) or 29 Oct. 1823 according to Mrs. Brock; bp. 16 Nov. 1823 Redruth, Cornwall; d. 23 June 1880; md. JANE DOIG, a Scots lady, b. 29 Oct. 1826 Earl (Errol?), Perthshire, Scotland, d. 22 Nov. 1916, daughter of Doyle Doig.

Children of John James TRELOAR and Jane Doig

i. John Doig TRELOAR, b. 26 July 1851 Toronto; d. 1915; md. Elizabeth WHITE. 

ii. William TRELOAR, b. 19 Dec. 1855 Toronto; d, 13 Dec. 1933 Toronto; md. Christiana Jemima FLOYD.

iii. Samuel TRELOAR. Reports say he had two children Percy TRELOAR and Fanny TRELOAR. Percy lived in Chicago and had a daughter. Fanny married a LINDAHL and lived at Berwyn, Ill. about 1910. 

iv. Henry TRELOAR, died young.

v. Alexander TRELOAR.

vi. James TRELOAR, had two daughters.

vii. Charles Doig TRELOAR, b. 20 Jan. 1868; d. 4 July 1937; md. 3 July 1895 Mona ROBINSON at Charles Treloar farm near Toledo, Ohio.

viii. Margaret TRELOAR, md. Fred WELSMAN; had three sons, Norman TRELOAR, Charles TRELOAR and Clare TRELOAR.

ix. Minnie Jane TRELOAR, md. Arthur WHALEY, had two sons, Arthur and Fred.
