I Live Geelong, Victoria, Australia. John James came to Australia on the ship the Mary Ann sailing from Plymouth England 13th, November 1856 and arriving Portland, Victoria, Australia in January 28th, 1857 he signed on as a ships carpenter for trip out here, he travelled with a Thomas Treloar but after arriving there is know known record of Thomas after that there is suspicion he had gone to New Zealand, but all it says on the shipping record is gone with friends."
