Henry (Alexander Henry or Henry Alexander) TRELOAR, a miller, son of Henry TRELOAR and Grace REMFRY, bp. 22 Feb. 1782 Wendron, Cornwall, England; 59 yrs. cns. 1841 Breage, 69 yrs. cns. 1851 Helston; d. Wendron Street, Helston; bur. 1 June 1862, age 80, Helston; death was reported by Priscilla Clift who made her mark; md. 13 Jan. 1806 Ruan Minor, Cornwall, England Marjorie ROWE, b. about 1782, St. Keverne (in cns.); age 59 cns. 1841 Breage, 68 cns. 1851 Helston; bur. 5 Mar. 1867, age 85, (Margaret) Helston, Cornwall, England. The reason for Alexander Henry or Henry Alexander is that on the marriage certificate of James TRELOAR and Mary COCK the father of James is given as Alexander. Extensive information from old letters, etc., in possession of the family of James strongly point to Henry and Alexander being one and the same. The children of Henry have the names of brothers and sisters of James, son of Henry. A great grandchild of Henry Alexander is named Everett Alexander Treloar. Careful searching has failed to find a birth, death or marriage for an Alexander Treloar. Henry and his family are found at TREVORIAN in 1841 cns. and James is of Trevorian at time of his marriage 1843. Henry owned property on Wendron Street, Helston as shown by Tithe Map.
