Sixth GenerationTo be found on Page 52 of Orson Lee Treloar's book James6 TRELOAR (Bennet5, Thomas4, John3, Wearne2, John1 Werne TRELOWARTH) a tinner, the 11th child of Bennet TRELOAR and Ann PASCOE, he was baptised at Wendron 17 June 1744. he lived to the ripe old age of 80 and died 11 January 1824 at Wendron. He married on the 15 July 1769 to Mary JENKINS who died at the same place 2 October 1823 aged 74. james was mentioned in the will of his father and brother William. Adm. of his estate gives signatures of sons Bennet and James and son-in-law John CHEGWIDEN. James TRELOAR and Mary JENKINS had the following family: i. Jane TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 8 November 1769. She married on 13 April 1789 at Wendron to John CHEGWIDEN. Proven by will of Uncle William. ii. Mary TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 16 February 1772. She is in the will of William 1810. iii. James TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 6 February 1774. He was buried at Wendron 13 October 1838 aged 64. He married Honor LUGG on 30 December 1802 at St Martin-in-Menage. He is mentioned in the will of 1810. The signature of James on father's adm. compares with that on his marriage certificate. iv. Anne TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 12 June 1776. v. Bennet TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 8 November 1778. he was buried 28 February 1780 vi. Bennet TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 10 June 1781 He died about 1853 at Linden, Wis., USA. He married on the 23 July 1810 at Wendron to Ann TREMAYNE. He was executor of his uncle's will of 1810. Signatures in fathers adm., in marriage book and writing in old family bible compare. vii. Ann TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 21 March 1784 She died at Wendron 7 July 1784. Burial book states "infant dau. of James". viii. William TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 26 December 1785. He was buried 4 February 1851 at Wendron. he married Charity MOYLE on 2 August 1821 at Wendron. he is in the will of 1810. ix. Elizabeth TRELOAR was baptised at Wendron on 11 January 1789. |
