Fifth Generation (Unconnected to Main Family) The following person appears on page 548 of Treloar History Book 1522 - 2004 0038 William TRELOAR (John16,John10, John2, Richard1), born 27 Feb 1825 in Crowan, CON and died in 1874 in Philadelphia, PA, at age 49. He was baptized on 19 Jun 1825 in Crowan, CON. Orson noted that William lived around Philadelphia, went South to prospect for gold. He is said to have owned a good part of Charlotte, NC, but sold it for Confederate money and lost out. William married Julia Franklin CROWELL on 10 Jul 1845 in NC. Julia was born about 1826 in NC and died after 1889, after age 63. Orson noted that George CROWELL, an ancestor of Julia, was born and died in NC; fought in the Revolutionary War; died aged 107. The family was living in Philadelphia when the 1870 census was taken. Julia was still alive in 1889. Children of William TRELOAR and Julia Franklin Crowell i. 0048 John Wesley. TRELOAR, was born on 26 Aug 1846 in Charlotte, NC and died before 1920 in Biloxi, MS, before age 74. drummer boy for South in War at age 13; md. Marie Josephine DELVAILLE. ii. 0049 Annie B TRELOAR, was born on 26 Oct 1848 in NC. iii. 0050 William Jennings TRELOAR, b. about 1851, Philedelphia; d. 1904; md. 1885 Barbara Elizabeth KEANE; lived in Idaho at one time; he was 23 yrs. old in 1874. iv. 0051 Rosa TRELOAR, was born about 1853 and died about 1863 about age 10. v. 0052 Louisa S TRELOAR 19 yrs. in 1874; b. about 1855; piano teacher, auto camp owner; d. Challis, Ida. 1937; not married. vi. 0053 Gustave Brevort TRELOAR, age 17 yrs. 1874; b. about 1857; d. 1913. vii. 0054 Benjamin TRELOAR, 15 yrs. in 1874; b. about 1859; no children. viii. 0055 Julia Victoria TRELOAR, b. 27 Nov. 1861; lived at Boise, Idaho 1912; d. 23 Nov. 1951, Charlotte, No. Carolina; md. Sam SMITH. ix. 0056 Fannie TRELOAR, b. about 1864; 10 yrs. old 1874; m.......... FORBUSH. x. 0057 Edgar Poe. TRELOAR , 7 yrs. old in 1874; died 1945 Boise, Idaho, had post office in his store at Forney, Idaho; had one dau. Mrs. Adell Tucker, Boise, Idaho. xi. 0058 Walter H TRELOAR, 5 yrs. old m 1874; had large family; lived in Chicago area when he died. xii. 0059 Paul E.
