Fourth GenerationThe following person appears on page 4 of Treloar History Book 1522 - 2004 0033: John33 TRELOAR (Wearne17, John4, Werne1 TRELOWARTH) was born in 1612 in Wendron, CON, died on 18 Apr 1685 in Wendron, CON, at age 73, and was buried on 19 Apr 1685 in Wendron, CON. He was baptized on 8 Dec 1613 in Wendron, CON. He was a Yeoman. John married Johanna PASKOE (see above), daughter of Johannes PASKOE and Agnes TRELOWARTH, on 1 Jun 1629 in Wendron, CON. Johanna was born about 1609 in Wendron, CON and died before 1647 in Wendron, CON. Edward Martin had additional data about John, such as that he took tin for coinage at Helston in 1641. He was styled "de Lezarea" of Lezarea in Wendron in 1641/42. John signed the Protestation Return in Wendron in 1641/42, illiterate. Conventionary tenant of 1/40 and 1/4 part of Lesgree alias Lesservey, held in manor of Helston, 1649/50. Taxed 1 shilling in 1660, and on 2 hearths in Wendron in 1664. John made his will on 20 March 1684, signed it with his mark. The will was proven in 1685. In it he mentions the children of both marriages, also his sister Jane. The Wendron Church records show both John and Jane to be children of Wearne. Property of Wearne goes to his son John after death of Wearne. This shown in Assession 2 Chas. I in 1626, Duchy of Cornwall. John was identified as a yeoman and the inventory of his estate totalled 47 Pounds and 16 Shillings. It also included details of 3 steers, 3 cows, 7 young bullocks, 4 small heifers, 22 sheep, 8 lambs, plus pigs, ducks and geese. It is clear that he had been a reasonably successful farmer as his estate also included a dozen pewter dishes and a brass crock. Children from this marriage were: i. 0058: Mary (Marie) TRELOAR, was born in 1636 in Wendron, CON. She was baptised 8 May 1636 at Wendron. . Mary married Alexander CARNBELACK on 7 Nov 1665 in Wendron, CON. Surname shown as Turnbull in Orson's book, should have been Carnbellack. . She is mentioned in the will of 1685 and also in her Grandfather Pascoe's will.. ii. 0059: Norah TRELOAR, baptised 12 December 1638 at Wendron. She died 2 February 1639. iii. 0060: Jane TRELOAR, baptised 5 January 1639-40 at Wendron. She married Daniel WERNE. Three children mentioned in the will of 1685. iv. 0061: Tamsin TRELOAR, Tamsin TRELOAR was born about 1640 in Wendron, CON. She was baptized on 30 Jan 1641 in Wendron, CON. Church records show that she is the daughter of John de Lezarea; mentioned in will of 1685 showing that John lived at Lezarea, Wendron. Tamsin was mentioned in her Grandfather Pascoe's will and given a shilling in her father's will. v. 0062: Patience TRELOAR, baptised 28 April 1644 at Wendron. She married James TOLLING. Three children mentioned in the will of 1685. NOTE: Phillimore Marriage Transcript for Stithians shows a Rachel Trelour marriage to Jhams Colling 1670/75. John TRELOAR next married Jone TRELOAR. Children from this marriage were: i. 0063: Joan TRELOAR, baptised 27 August 1648 at Wendron. She married John TRESOLL 23 April 1678 at Wendron. She is mentioned in the will of 1685. ii. 0064: Wearne TRELOAR, baptised 17 March 1649-50 at Wendron. He died 22 June 1670. iii. 0065: John TRELOAR, was born in 1652 in Wendron, CON and died on 22 Nov 1701 in Lezarea, Wendron, CON, at age 49. He was baptized on 28 Mar 1652 in Wendron, CON. iv. 0066: Thomas TRELOAR was born in 1653 in Wendron, CON, died in 1705 in Wendron, CON, at age 52, and was buried on 2 Aug 1705 in Wendron, CON. He was baptized on 19 Feb 1653 in Wendron, CON. He is mentioned in the will of 1685. v. 0067: Bennet TRELOAR, was born in 1656 in Wendron, CON and died in 1726 in Wendron, CON, at age 70. He was baptized on 17 Jul 1656 in Wendron, CON. He is mentioned in the will of 1685. |
