Christopher Festus TRELFORD was born May 19, 1872 in Ballinakill, Clifden, Galway, Ireland to John Trelford, b. 1824 or 1830 and Anne Toole b. 1835 or 1842. Christopher had 9 brothers and sisters:

John and Anne Trelford's Family - This is the information we have to date.

Christopher served in the Connaught Rangers, an old British Army regiment which no longer exists, and was billeted in Army Barracks in Clifden. This is a small town in County Galway on the west coast of Southern Ireland in the Province of Connaught. In the 1800's Ireland was under British rule and there was an army barracks at Clifden where the Cannaught Rangers were stationed. British rule ceased in 1921 when Ireland was divided into 2 separate states North and South.

Derry Grave
The Derry grave of TRELFORDs/TELFORDs.
We have visited an old graveyard in Moy, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and have seen an old gravestone which shows the oldest burial as the TRELFORD surname and in the same family grave there are TELFORDS listed on the same gravestone.
