Territory which is now Oklahoma starting from the early 1830's until after the
early 1900's. If your Jones line was not in this area at that time, then I would
have no information on them. Please do not contact me asking about your Jones

Dice Jones

Impson Jones is the oldest
known son of Solomon Jones. His mother is unknown. Born in Mississippi between
1821 & 1830, he would have been a small boy at the time he was forced with
his family to remove to Indian territory. He married Jency James daughter
of Robert Calvin James and Christina Jones March 1868 in Blue CO.,
Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. In 1900 Jency (James) Jones stated she was the
mother of 9 children, 4 living.
Some of the surnames married into this line are: JAMES, LANE, WARD, FOLSOM
& TALBERT

Robin Jones was born about
1833, it is not known if he was born in Mississippi before the removal or was
born in the new territory. Robin was married at least twice, one of his wives
was named Phillis and he had at least five children with her. Robin's
last wife was Sibby Washington daughter of Dave Washington and Sucky
Jones. Robin and Sibby had one daughter; Mary Belle Jones. Robin died
about 1900. Some of the surnames married into this line are:

Thomas Jones was born about
1834, again it is not know if he was born in Mississippi or Choctaw Nation,
Indian Territory. His mother is unknown. He was married to Sally/ Lo-Shu-ma
and had five girls; Elizabeth, Amy, Louisa, Annie and
Bivey "Vicey"
Jones. Thomas died about 1879 in Jackson Co., Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory.
Some of the surnames married into this line are: McAFEE, WILSON, BACON,
LEFLORE

Wallace Jones was born March
1836 in Shawneetown, Red River Co., Choctaw Nation. His mother was Sallie.
Wallace was married to a woman named Myrah and had two children with her; Jonas
and Elsie. Wallace married Eliza Kincade daughter of Andrew Kenkade
about 1856. They had four children; Mary Jane, Simon, Henry and Ida. Wallace
died January 9, 1905 in Matoy, Bryon Co., Indian Territory. Some of the surnames
married into this line are: BOND, KINCADE, NEELY, DODSON, MOSLEY, BLEDSOE

Noel Jones was born abt. 1840
his mother may have been named Ruth. His first wife's name is unknown,
but he had a son named Frank with her. His 2nd wife was a Cherokee woman
named Mary. They had Louisa Martha, Stan Waitie, Annie, Israel ,
Narcissa "Sissy" and Edward William. Noel died March 18, 1908 in
Atoka, Atoka Co., Oklahoma. Some of the surnames married into this line are:
ARMSTRONG, JONES (white), KEY, PAYNE, WILSON, WISE, WOLF

Sam Jones was born abt. 1847
most likely in Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. His mother may have also been
Ruth. He married Martha A. Ellis. It is believed that Sam and his wife
Martha A. ELLIS did not have children, Martha is listed as 1/2 Choctaw. Sam died
about 1912 in Atoka, Atoka Co., Oklahoma

Edmond Jones was born abt.
1850 in the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. His first wife's name is unknown,
however they had at least two daughters, Francis Jones and Phoebe
Jones. His 2nd wife was Alice Welch the daughter of Freeman Welch.
Edmond and Alice had five childen: Joseph Joe, Emma, Amanda, Wilson and Ella.
Edmond died May 18, 1908 in Atoka, Atoka Co., Oklahoma. Some of the surnames
married into this line are: HORNE, JAMES, JOHNSON, DAVIS, McKINNEY, SEYMOUR,
WEAVER

Allen Jones, may have died before
the death of Solomon as he is not listed as an heir, he is listed on the 1855
Choctaw Nation census for Blue county.
