Research
in this Hooker family begins with Robert Hooker. Unfortunately, we have been
unable to trace the lineage back further than Robert. Those who
went before him are still unknown.
On a film of the Court of Common Pleas and Quarter Sessions, in 1793 a Jacob
Hooker, whom I believe to be Robert's brother, entered 200 acres joining
Thomas Winslow on Cedar Creek. In 1794 he recorded his mark for his
livestock, "each ear cropped; a under bite in the left ear and over bite
in the right ear".
I
don't believe this brother followed Robert to Indiana.
It is
also thought that Robert had another brother, John, in Randolph County. I will
continue to watch for him.
I
would appreciate any information on these Hooker brothers.

Below
you find links to the different Hooker families. If you have information

I
have met many cousins and "almost" cousins who have generously
shared their research with me. I want to take this time to thank those
cousins and other researchers who have so kindly provided information to fill
in the blank spaces in my research. If you would like to get in touch
with them, please e-mail me.
