Most of the photos in these first two sections are undated, but I believe they were taken in the 1910s and 20s.

Everett operated a garage in Kingston, Ulster Co., New York in the 1940s and 50s. It was located on 9W ("the by-pass") and was occupied by a Toyota dealership when I visited the area in May, 2002. Below are some photos taken of the garage (probably some time in the mid to late 1940s). The top center photo is an enlarged detail of the photo on the left showing my grandfather, Earl Smith (in the tow truck) and Everett Van Kleeck. For more on Earl Smith, see the Smith section.
