The following of the 6th grade had 100 percent in spelling during December: Inez Day, Gladys Ellsworth, Lois Heeb, Wilma Hill, Dorothy Shader, Emily White, Billy Cavanaugh, Frederick McDonald, Gregory Milroy, Henry Thorne, Walter Trombini, Billy White, Albert Rothe, Jane Banks, Rosie Colton, Clara Cookingham, Catherine Coon.
Twenty five pupils of the 8th grade out of 33 were perfect in attendance during December in spite of illness and Christmas shopping. Three of the class are out this week ill with the grip.
Regents in spelling just two weeks off! Some of us who do not need to fear are just worrying ourselves into a frenzy, while some of us who should study oh, so hard! just shrug our shoulder and say "I should worry!" Isn't this a strange world?
