Mrs. Elizabeth Barton died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Norman Kilmer, on January 14, 1910, after an illness of over two years. Deceased was forty-three years old.
Her son Roy, whose death occurred suddenly a few weeks ago, left her disconsolate and probably hastened her decease. After the death of her son, who was her sole support, she was taken to the home of her sister where she received every attention that sisterly affection could suggest. Mrs. Barton was a gentle, lovable woman, and had a large number of warm friends who sympathized with her in her troubles, and while they mourn her demise, will rejoice that she has entered the Paradise of God. She was a daughter of the late Otis and Sarah Moore, and a niece of Jacob S. Bowman. Funeral services were held at the home of her sister Sunday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. Thomas Burrows, rector of the Episcopal Church, of which deceased was a communicant, officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
