Lots of miscellaneous unidentified photos. These were found with the family photos of David and Lucinda (Thorne) Bowman and may include relatives. Several were a bit faded and have been enhanced with Paint Shop Pro.
Unidentified child.
Unidentified woman, probably a Bowman, but too faded to positively identify even after enhancing the photo. She seems to share some features in common with several Bowman women and may be one of them.
"Emma - taken in 1906". The writing on the front of the photo in the lower right corner is barely legible, appears to read "(illegible) Pinard, NY", possibly the photographer's name.
The same person in the same pose in both photos, on the left as a young girl and on the right as a woman. This woman seems to me to look very similar to "Emma" in the portrait above and may be the same woman.
Two unidentified photos, apparently of the same person. The photo on the left shows her as a young girl and has apparently been hand-tinted. The photo on the right shows her as a young woman.
Unidentified boy.
Unidentified young woman. She has similar facial features to the boy immediately above and may be related to him.
Unidentified young man and unidentified older man in top hat. These men have similar poses in the same studio as the marriage portraits of several of the men in the Bowman family. This leads me to believe that these two may either have been bridegrooms themselves or members of someone else's wedding party.
Unidentified young girl with lace collar.
Unidentified young woman. The photographer's mark in the lower right reads "The Gallup Studio, Poughkeepsie, N.Y."
Unidentified young man. The photographer's mark in the lower right reads "C. H. Gallup, 292.294 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, N.Y."
Unidentified young woman. I cropped this image. The photographer's mark in the lower right read "C. H. Gallup & Co., 292.294 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, N.Y."
Unidentified woman in fancy hat fastened on with a rather deadly looking hat pin. I cropped this image to get rid of the huge black matte around it, but the photographer's mark in the lower right read "Smith, Waterbury, Conn."
Unidentified young man.
Unidentified young woman.
Unidentified woman riding sidesaddle. This is a tintype, so I flipped the image (the process of making tintypes and daguerrotypes produces a reversed image). Visible in the lower right corner is what appears to be someone's arm holding the stable door open.
