Lina J. Decker, widow of Myron H. Decker, died at the Northern Dutchess Health Center, in Rhinebeck, on Wednesday morning, March 18. Mrs. Decker was born in the town of Stanford on November 5, 1862, a daughter of the late David Bowman and Lucinda Thorne. She had resided in Pine Plains 30 years, previously residing in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Decker passed away in 1930.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Bradley, Pine Plains, and Mrs. Angelene R. Houston, Poughkeepsie; a grandson, Alfred Houston of Hyde Park and a great grandson, Mark A. Houston, Hyde Park.
Mrs. Decker was a member of the Congregational - Christian church, Stanfordville.
Funeral services will be held at the Pine Plains Methodist church on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Moore, a former pastor, now of Franklin, and the Rev. John Eason will officiate. Burial will be in the Stanfordville cemetery. Bearers will be George Hunter, Fred Fingar, Richard Peck, William Hutchings, Dr. Paul Duxbury and Harold Tripp.
