Fernando Wirehouse, of Lafayetteville, died suddenly early Monday afternoon, Dec. 18th, having suffered a stroke. He died shortly after being admitted to the Northern Dutchess Health Service Center, Rhinebeck.
Mr. Wirehouse was born in Gallatin Jan. 4, 1886, a son of Isaac and Martha Hutching Wirehouse. On Nov. 20, 1909 he married Bertha Bowman, who survives. Other surviving relatives are four brothers, Jacob of Pine Plains, Foster of Philadelphia, James of Rhinebeck and Ernest of Red Hook.
The deceased had been a resident of this vicinity all his life and was engaged in the business of painter and paper hanger.
Funeral services will be held from his late home this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. David Freer, of the Shultzville church, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery, under the direction of Frank S. Roberts.
