The surname of these two people appears to be "Thies", although I could be misreading the fancy handwriting. Information on the back identifies the photographers for all three photographs as having been in London, England. All of these photos are the small carte de visite size (about 2 1/2 by 4 inches). All three have reddish stains or "foxing" and are somewhat faded.
F. Thies. This lady with the fancy hair is identified on the back as F. Thies, 1 (Grange?) Rd. E., Dalsto???, N. ?. The photographer is listed on the back as C. T. Newcombe, Photographer, 135 Fenchurch Street, City.
Conrad W. Thies. A date written on the back appears to read "Sept. 1888". Photographer information is the same as for the lady above: C. T. Newcombe, Photographer, 135 Fenchurch Street, City.
Conrad Wm. Thies. This appears to be a bust of the same man shown in the photo above. The date written on the front is either "Aug. 82" or "Aug. 92" - the handwriting is difficult to make out. Photographer information on the back reads: St. Pauls Photographic Gallery, G. Marks, Photographer & Colourist, 75 St. Pauls Church Yard, London, E. C.
