*1870 Mortality Schedule, Cherokee County, Kansas. "Relatively Seeking" vol 8 pg 75 (copy with Gary Treat). Lived in the household of her son, Richard Treat, at the time of her death. Death was a result of injuries from a fall. Original mortality schedule has not be examined.
*Pedigree chart filled out by James Ballard; P O Box 37; Dover, AR 72837 (18 Jul 1989) says 1860. *Several other researchers also conflict with the 1870 Mortality Schedule saying she lived to be 101 years old which would place her death abt 1882.BIOGRAPHY:
*A tradition floating around in the family in that Margaret lived to the age of 101. This was noted in a publication on Searcy Co, families in the 1980's and in the obituary of her granddaughter Florence Treat Piety in 1950. Documentation, however, does not support this idea as she is listed on the 1870 KS Mortality Schedule for Cherokee Co.CHRONOLOGY:
