Bartlebaugh, Tennessee is in Hamilton County and is located North East of Chattanooga on or near the Chickamauga Lake. Lake Chickamauga now covers most of what was once Bartlebaugh. The present building site and Bartlebaugh Cemetery belonged to the Champion Family. Harrison Pike is now called Champion Road. Since the dam was built, most of this farming community is now under water.

This village is on the Harrison pike near the farms of C. B. Champion and Walter Lamon. It has two stores and several neat residences. Bartlebaugh was named after a preacher who used to live there.
