Rowley Cemetery - When Joe Rowley's son died in 1850 he buried him on his farm, as was the custom then. A second child died in 1867 and also was buried here. Soon after Simon Peter's son William died in 1868, and asked Joe if he was going to make a cemetery there. Joe donated some ground, and William was buried here. Then some ground was bought. When they got perpetual care Ray Rowley traded some land across the road where buildings are for perpetual care for the old Rowley's graves.
