Helen Gould Beck
She was born on January 2, 1904 in Elkton, Missouri. After she went in to show business Cecil DeMille suggested she change her name to Sally Rand. She was a legendary fan dancer and eventually danced in a bubble. She also appeared in several movies over the years. She died on August 31, 1979 in Glendora, California.
We do know that she is the great granddaughter of John Adam Beck and Margaret Jane Gould. We are not sure if her grandfather was William Chambers Beck or his brother George Beck, whom both of these men founded what we know today as Pittsburgh Kansas. Both William Chambers Beck and his brother George Beck had sons George William and one of them is the father of Helen Gould Beck.
