40. Harper5 Campy (James Harper4, Thomas3 Camp, Thomas2, Thomas1) (#56) was born, 1891. His body was interred 1940? in Whitwood.

He married Ada Bently in Memorial Church, Whitwood, Castleford, 1905. (Ada Bently is #131.) Ada died 1971. 

At then time of his marriage, Harper is shown as being a glassworks labourer, and Ada a glassworks warehouse hand. The address on the marriage certificate is shown, for both of them, is 26 Pottery Street, Whitwood, Castleford. 

Another address later on for them was 103 Savill Road, Castleford Harper and Ada were living in Royston, at the time of their son, Wilfred's, birth. Harpers occupation is shown as engineman

There is a Harper Campy buried at Whitwood cemetary in April 1940.(grave no 820 OP) His age is shown as 58, giving a birth year of 1882. Harpers marriage in December 1905 shows his age as 24, giving a birth year of 1881, however I do think that these are both the same person. After Harpers death Ada and James emigrated to Hobart, Tasmania.

Harper Campy and Ada Bently had the following children:

child 65 ii. Clifford Campy (#134).

child 66 iii. James Harper Campy (#135). He married Betty 1952. (Betty is #136.) James emigrated to Hobart Tasmania in 1950 with his mother, after his father died.

child 67 iv. Wilfred Campy (#132) was born in Royston (ref Parish records), 1908.
