Mollie Kemble is believed to have been a daughter of Catharine and Josiah Wright Kemble. Josiah was a son of Abraham Kemble.

From the History of Ellis County compiled some years ago by Mrs. A. L. Feltenberger and the Rebecca Boyce Chapter DAR, as cited on the Ellis County web page:
Mrs. Katherine Kemble died June 3, 1904 at her home on Grove Creek, aged 80 years. She was the widow of J. W. Kemble who died many years ago. Mrs. Kemble came to Ellis County from Kentucky in 1857.A search of Ellis County for Kemble families found A. A. Kemble, age 32, born Kentucky in the 1860 census there. This may be a brother to Mary Catharine Kemble Linn. The History of Ellis County (Goodspeed p 652) gives a sketch of Judge Abraham Allen Kemble. It states that Judge Kemble
was born in Warren County, Kentucky, October 3, 1826. He was the son of Abraham Kemble who was born in Philadelphia in 1794 and who moved with his father, Hezekiah, to Kentucky about 1810. His mother was Mary F. New, the daughter of John New. She was born and reared in Stokes County, North Carolina, and moved to Warren County, Kentucky, where she married in 1818.Since John and Mary Linn's daughter, Flora, married Frank Long in Nolan County, Texas, in 1882, the Linn family must have moved to West Texas about 1881. A Nolan County history says that John Berroth was a brother-in-law to Flora, so he must have married one of her sisters.
