Kittie Bell Lynch and James Weaver McEwin

      James Weaver McEwin was the only son of William Edward McEwin and Virginia Lee Wooldridge. He was born 18 March 1888 near Hopewell, Lamar County, Texas. He died 27 November 1976 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. He was a merchant and farmer.

      James Weaver McEwin married Kittie Bell Lynch on 7 December 1911 in Antlers, OK. Kittie was the daughter of James Henry Lynch and Edna Ann Lee. She grew up in her grandmother's home, as Edna Lee Lynch died when Kittie was about six.

      Weaver had been taking care of himself since the age of 7. He lived with various relatives after his mother died, but wanted a home of his own very badly.

      Weaver and Kittie had ten children:
