Robinson Cemetery

Chesterfield, Massachusetts

Located .7 miles up Ireland Street from Westfield River bridge (the bridge is just 2.2 miles down Rt. 143 from the center of Chesterfield), this small family plot sits off the side of the road on the left. The headstones are very lacking in detail and quite small.

There are nine marked graves in two rows. One row is anchored on the far side from the road by the tall A. Robinson stone, then (from right to left looking at the stones) Thankful, Mary Ann, Sarah and Asa. The other row begins with Roxana, then Walter, Eunice and Zebulon.

The following from Mrs. Lederer's transcriptions:

"Robinson Hollow. Robinson family burial lot. Large monument. This cemetery lot is located about a mile beyond West Chesterfield toward the Westfield river toward the Gorge. This road goes to South Worthington."
