Mount Cemetery
Chesterfield, Massachusetts

One of the largest of the Chesterfield cemeteries, it is located 6/10th of a mile up Mount Rd., a steep, dirt road. To get there go 2.1 miles from the center of town to the Westfield River Bridge on Rt. 143. Take a right on Cummington Road and go .9 miles to Mount Road on the right.

The cemetery is divided by an access road, forming a lower side, running down the hill and generally being the older stones; and an upper side, running up the hill and being the most recent stones. This upper section is divided mostly into large family plots and that is reflected below. I have divided this page into the lower and upper sections, as is the cemetery.
