These Torrance Genealogy Pages trace the descendants of Thomas Torrance
of Glasgow Scotland. The Glasgow University archives record that
he was a "craftsman". We estimate that he was born sometime
around 1750 to 1760. He had at least seven sons. We know
the names of two - Rev. Robert Torrance (1780-1834) the eldest, and
Thomas Torrance (abt 1798-?) the youngest. We do not yet know the
names of the others, perhaps with your help we can find out.
