Mahlon Sassaman Heiter - born June 5, 1865 in Perry Township, Berks County, PA, a son of William L. and Sophia (Reber) Heiter.  He was a farmer all of his adult life.  He married January 20, 1894.  He died March 10, 1939 of a "cerebral hemorrhage with right side paralysis" (stroke).  He was buried on March 14th at the Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery in Perry Township.

Mena Christine Sunday - born September 11, 1877, a daughter of George W. & Susanna M. (DeTurk) Sunday.  Her father died before she was one year old, and her mother remarried to Cyrus W. Luckenbill.  Mena grew up with her mother, step father, and 13 half siblings!  She died on April 3, 1919, the result of a diabetic coma.  She was afflicted with diabetes for the last five years.  She was buried on April 5th at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery in Perry Township.

Their children:

George Mahlon Heiter - born May 22, 1894, and married June 16, 1917 to Laura Mary Ann Schappell.  Sometime after 1930 he moved to Allentown, Lehigh County where he continued to farm.  He died in the Allentown Hospital on January 31, 1963, and is buried at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery.

Curtis J. Heiter - born May 5, 1897, died May 12, 1897, buried at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery. 

Mary Magdaline Heiter - born July 22, 1898, married first April 21, 1917 to Edward William Eberly, married second December 25, 1920 to William Samuel Schappell, died August 21, 1974.

Clarence L. Heiter- born April 25, 1900, died March 15, 1901, buried at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery.  Other researchers list his middle name as Leroy

Mabel S. Heiter - born July 23, 1901, died April 27, 1903, buried at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery.  Other researchers list her middle name as Susanna

Raymond Charles Heiter - born April 3, 1903, married October 9, 1926 to Mae E. Brown.  He had a second wife named Joyce Small who survived him.  He died October 10, 1968 in Lebanon, PA, and is buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery in North Lebanon Twp., Lebanon County.  His nickname was "Schpeck".

Edna Sophia Heiter - born August 13, 1906, married October 25, 1924 to Melvin Adam Schappell.  She had a second husband named George Wilson Hepner, and she died November 29, 1980.

Lester C. Heiter - born December 23, 1907, died December 27, 1907, buried at Zion's (Windsor Castle) Cemetery.  Other researchers list his middle name as Clayton.

Ralph Woodrow Heiter - born June 19, 1915.  Sometime after 1930 he moved to Allentown, Lehigh County where he continued to farm.  He married Dorothy Martin on February 9, 1939.  He died February 23, 1970 in the Allentown Hospital, and is buried at the Morgenland Union Cemetery in Orefield, Lehigh County.
