Returns of the Wedding from Wm Wade Hinshaw's Vol. 6 of

Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy. Those were not

from Quaker records but were substituted by him since some

surnames appeared in some Quaker records.

6^th May, 1793. Marriage Bond for John Hunt and Ann Owen signed by John Hunt and Henry Sutphen as Surety (50 pounds). Consent document signed 6 May 1793 by Owen Owen and Mary Owen, doesn't state relationship but says "we have no objection". Witnessed & signed by Henry Sutphen, William Sutphen. Consent document dated Feb. 25, 1797, states, "We do hereby certify that we are perfectly Satisfied that Liesonses Should Ishue to Authorise the Celebration of a marriage that is intended to Be had Between John Newby Hudson of this County and Nancy Golden of the Said County"; signed by Stephen Hunt and Mary (her X Marke) Hunt. December 23, 1799. Marriage Bond for William b. Lytle and Polly Hunt signed by Wm (his + mark) Lytle and Wm (his + mark) Creasey as Surety ($150.00). Consent document dated 23 Dec. 1799 by Elizabeth Hunt stating agreement to marriage and Polly is her daughter; signed Elizabeth (her X mark) Hunt and Polly (her X mark) Hunt. Teste.
