Beulah M. Hopp
Obituary
Beulah M. Hopp, the former Beulah Jackson was born September 4, 1911 at
Clinton. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Nina
(Ferguson) Jackson. On December 3, 1938, Beulah married John Lee
Hopp in DeWitt. The couple farmed much of their married
life. Her husband preceeded her in Death on March 29, 1992.
Beulah was a member of the First Congregational United Church of
Christ, DeWitt.
Surviving are a daughter Jean Tuelson and her husband Darold, DeWitt;
three sisters, Erma (Ed) Kaszinski and Alma Casad, DeWitt; Viola
Tietjens, Clinton; three grandchildren, Leslie (Mark) Howard, Lori
Truelsen, Leon Truelson, DeWitt; a great-granddaughter, Marissa May
Hughes-Truelsen, DeWitt; and a brother-in-law, Jim Thiel, DeWitt;
nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Beula was preceded in death by a
sister Mary Thiel, an infant brother and two brothers-in-law, Joe Casad
and Ben Tietjens.
