Photo at left received from Nadine Scott on Nov. 12, 1999. She received the photo from Katharina Henckel several years ago. Only the two standing in the middle were identified as Emma who married a Henckel and Herman Bilke, with their parents, brothers and sisters. Since none of the children that stayed in Wisconsin are in the picture, it must have been taken after the move to Missouri about 1868 or 1869. Emma died in 1874, so best guess is picture was taken about 1870. Based on this information my best guess as to identification of the photo is: Photo taken about 1870, from left to right, Amalie (Amelia) Caroline (Bilke) Schaffner (age 27), Johann Gottfried (Godfrey) Egydius Bilke (age 66), Emma Caroline (Bilke) Henckel (age 20), Hanna Maria (Theile) Bilke (age 61), Gottfried Hermann (Herman) Julius Bilke (age 24), Friedrich Wilhelm (William) Bilke (age 31), and Fredrick Gustavos Bilke (age 17)
