LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THOMAS BUTTERWORTH

I Thomas Butterworth of Ramsden in Hundersfield, husbandman, make this my last will.
I give to Henry Butterworth, Thomas Butterworth, William Butterworth, Edmund Butterworth, James Butterworth, Jonathon Butterworth, Alice, ye wife of John Emott, Elizabeth ye wife of Ruben Haigh and Martha Butterworth, my sons and daughters, 6d a piece and no more.
Then all the rest of my whole personal estate I give to Alice, my now wife, but if she marry, then my will is she shall but enjoy one third part and ye other two parts my will is shall descend and come unto Thomas and John Butterworth, my two youngest children.
