Help! Who is the father of Nathaniel Tobin (1740/50-c1831)?
Two facts that may have a bearing:
William Allen of Amwell, Hunterdon Co., NJ, granted administration of the estate of James Tobin, dec'd, of Hunterdon Co., NJ, on 6 Feb 1759, fellow bondsman Richard Reading of the same place. [Liber 9 page 454]
Thannil Tobe whose child, no name given, was a ward of Amwell Township in 1755 and 1756. The child was taken care of by Johanis Jager [Amwell Township Minute Book].
