Burial: July 1916 Buried origionaly at Bettystown Cem. (some of the graves at Bettystown Cem. were moved to other locations because of the building of Cheatham Dam). Later moved to Bud Gafford Cem. Dickson Co. TN
Census: 1870 Living in Montgomery co. TN. House # 151 wife, Elizabeth black and 3 children, James 6, Martha Rebecca 3, and William 2.
Census: 1880 Living in Dickson co. TN. wife, Emaline Ballard.
Died: July 14, 1916 Dickson co. Tn.
Military service: Bet. 1861 - 1865 Served in the 14th Tennesse Infantry regiment organized May, 1861 at Camp Duncan, near Clarksville, Tennessee in Company "B" as a private. Probably served under ... Cpt Averett, Howell H.
Wounded: August 09, 1862 in the hip at Cedar Run, Rockingham co. VA.
Other: Believed to be P. A. Spann born 1841, (son of Solomon Spann and Matilda Miffflin).
