CATES FAMILY LINE
A lot of the Cates information I have was sent to me by Barry George. It starts with William A. Cates who was born before 1667 which is the year of his first born, he was married to Margaret Agnes (maiden name unknown). The Cates I believe came from England and can be found in North Carolina, Texas, & later years in Thomasville, Ga., and Florida.
