Posted By: Mr Robin L Gotham -- Edwin Pierpont, and Clara Bagley Gotham had this photograph taken of themselves and their firstborn child, Lisle Edwin Gotham . The original copy was quite large, and was displayed honoring his parents in the living room of Lisle's home most of the days of his life. I never knew Edwin personally as he died in 1938 before I was born, I knew Clara quite well, and grandfather Lisle, and the photo does them justice in its accuracy.................I beleive the photo of Edwin quite favorably duplicates his attire and appearance in the earlier photo of 1886, which includes a younger Clara as well. These points about Clara and Edwins very mature appearance for a young man, were brought to my attention as typical of each of them, by my father Carlisle, Uncle Glenn, Aunt Anona, and Aunt Alma. ---Written by Robin Gotham...
