These pictures are of William Ross. He was Born Jan.1,1818 in Gloversville,Fulton Co.,New York. He died Nov.4,1898 He was married in 1847 to Clarissa Whiting(daughter of Jacob & Caroline (nee:Coons/Combs)Whiting Clarissa was born Feb.27,1830 also in Gloversville. She died Jan.31,1924. Ida was daughter of William & Clarissa (nee:Whiting) Ross.She was born in Nov.1862 Freeman was born about 1859 he died June 3,1929.bur: Three Mile Bay. Thier children are left to right; Ross(married Verna Snyder) born March 1888, died June 11,1968;Clara (married Herman Bier)born June 1884.And Charles Arthur (also listed Arthur Charles, never married) born Feb.2,1883 died 1944.
JOHN ROSS
John is a son of William & Clarissa Ross. The first picture is of John as a young man the second is of his sister Jessie (nee:Ross) Crawford & then a picture of John and sister Jessie in thier later years.
This old mill was built by John Ross at Three Mile Bay.
