As his eldest child I must admit I'm uncertain as to what I should speak to you about per my father. One thing I'm certain of per this photo, Dad's smile is for YOU. I don"t mean he knew this photo would be presented on this web site of OUR greater Gotham family I mean, Dad has ALWAYS tried to meet the world and everyone in it optimistically with sincere care and regard for all, and were you meeting him in person he would greet YOU personally with a similar smile and keen curiousity as to YOU and YOUR interests . In my branch of the greater Gotham family,Dad is our oldest living member , and absolutely OUR reigning Patriarch. My younger brothers and sister, our spouses and children will be having ice cream and cake this Sunday afternoon happily basking in the glow of Dads company celebrating both birthday and Fathers day.The BEST time I've had with Dad , should be titled times for they boggle my memory in retrospect from hunting, fishing , canoeing, camping hiking,to working straining struggling and learning so much together, I cannot decide what was or could be the BEST TIME with Dad. I even feel sorry for my own brothers and sister that they have not had as much time with Dad as I. From bee keeping to log chopping, church, faith and morality I find few others compare favorably with my father unless they too be GOTHAM's,especially the ,dare I say old one's. Dad has of course outlived most of his peers and someday I may tell more of Dads many adventures as a Gotham challenging life but if you doubt the worthiness of my remarks about my father just ask his younger sisters for they too might speak and witness much of Dad and our older smiling Gotham forebearers in vivid testimony.---by Editor , Robin L Gotham --- Date Taken: Approximately, May, 2003. ----- Place Taken: Geauga County, Parkman, Ohio.
