Payne's Creek State Historic State Park   This page contains photos of the site of the Kennedy-Darling Trading Post on Payne's Creek, the site of Fort Chokonikla, the monument near the graves of Captain George Payne and Dempsey Whidden, and scenery in the park.  These photos were taken on August 4th and 5th, 2002 by Teresa and Amy McGowin.
