Will dated 02 Sep 1755; Probated 30 Apr 1766, Somerset County, Maryland.  Heirs:  Wife, Mary.  Children:  John, George, Moses, Aaron, Thomas and Charles.  Witnesses:  William and John Taylor, Robert Twilley. George Culver (Sr.) Died 1782 - Sussex County, DE

Will dated 28 Feb 1782; Probated 30 Dec 1782.  Heirs:  sons John, Jesse, Nathan, Isaac, Salathiel, William and George Culver; daughters Esther and Milley.  Executor: son George Culver.  Witnesses:  Isaac Horsey, William Waller, Robert Low.   (Source:  Calendar of Sussex County, Delaware Probate Records, 1680-1800.  Georgetown, DE:  Public Archives Commission, 1964.

George Culver (Jr.)  Died ca. 1830 - Hancock County, GA

George Culver, Jr. was born about 1760.  He was married to Eliza Ellis, daughter of Levin Ellis Undocumented sources state that George Culver died 14 Nov 1830 in Hancock County, GA.  Further research is needed to document George Culver's date of death. 

George and Eliza Culver as well as other members of the Culver and Ellis families were  members of Smyrna Methodist Church in Hancock County, GA. Some records give Eliza Culver's date of death as 08 December 1847 in Hancock County, GA.  This is actually the date Eliza made her will.  Eliza Culver, age 80  and  her son, George W. Culver, age 45,  were listed on the 1850 census of Hancock County, GA (enumerated as "Elisabeth Culver.) 

George W. Culver, age 45 was in the household.  George W. Culver was blind.  In 1880 George W. Culver, age 75, was listed in the household James W. & Mary Moore.  George W. Culver was the uncle of Mary Culver Moore who was the daughter of Hardy C. Culver. 

14th Regimental Court of Enquiry Militia Minutes, Hancock County, Georgia transcribed by Troy Colquitt   notes that George W. Culver was exempted from military duty during life on account of defective eyes.
