Longman Family Genealogy

Funeral services for Garfield D. Longman, 65, of Baldwin, who died Monday evening, were conducted yesterday (Wednesday) at 10 a.m.

Services were conducted from Ibert's Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward D. Haug, pastor of the First Methodist church of Franklin, officiating. Interment was in the Franklin cemetery.

Mr. Longman, who had maintained a farm in Baldwin for the past 17 years, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maud{e} Ester Gooley Longman, three sons, Merlin of Baton Rouge; Kenneth, Franklin; and Orville, Baldwin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
