William VINYARD

William Vinyard was born 02 January 1798 in Georgia, possibly in Madison County. He married about 1823 to Margarette _______ , who was born about 1800 in Georgia or South Carolina. William was the son of Joseph and Hester Vinyard Sr. William and Margaret are found in Tallapoosa County, Alabama in 1850. They later move to Sebastian County, Arkansas and are buried there in the Gilliam Cemetery. William is found living with son William on the 1880 Sebastian County census.

A marriage record has been found for a William Vinyard and Mary Atchenson on 20 January 1823. Is this William and Margarette? The dates would be about right for the marriage to have had a child in 1826. Hopefully, someone will give us the answer to this question.
