William Wesley
SANFORD
William Wesley Sanford, the seventh child of Asa Sanford and Catherine Green Hanson, was born 23 May 1846. He married on 15 January 1871 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Sarah T. Pullen. Sarah was born on 20 November 1850.
William served in Company D, 1st Alabama Cavalry during the Civil War. William was living with his sister, Mary A. Sanford Adams, and her family in 1870 Tallapoosa County. His occupation is listed as a printer.
Sarah is listed as being the mother of nine children, with seven of them still living as of 1900. She died on 10 August 1904. She's buried in the Dadeville Cemetery, Dadeville, Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
William died after 1921 and he is buried in the Dadeville Cemetery beside Sarah.
