Thomas Alexander PORCH

Thomas Alexander Porch was born in 1783 in Virginia. He is thought to be related to Sherrod Porch but there has been no definite connection made thus far. Thomas married Elizabeth Reese on 24 December 1807 in Hancock County, Georgia. Elizabeth died giving birth to son Henry Cole in 1808.

Thomas later married Tabitha Bonner on April 13, 1810 in Hancock County. Tabitha was born before 1800 and she died in 1830. They had eleven children.

Thomas later married Jane Ragland Witherspoon on 25 September 1833. Jane was a widow woman about 24 years of age at the time of their marriage. She was born about 1809 in North Carolina. Thomas and Jane had six children.

Thomas died in 1860 in Meriwether County, Georgia.
