John Garland Cosby, the fifth son of James E. Cosby and Mary Jane Pattillo, was born about 1855. He married before 1885 to Unknown. They had one child.
John later married Mary J. ???. Mary was born in 1871. She had two children by a previous marriage. John and Mary had one child together. They were living in Logan County, Arkansas in 1900. Mary died before 1910.
